Was asked about setting up priority campaigns on Google ad manager yesterday. Here’s a video that I found that would help explain the line items priority settings.
Wish I had watched this earlier before transferring the campaigns from my old adserver.
Check out this GAM line item delivery priority video

Today was affiliate day, dedicated most of my time working on our new media kit for affiliates. The media kit is targeted at new affiliates or webmasters interested in join Wego’s program. The goal is to have a short and sweet presso with details where we can send to potentials and not overwhelm them with too much information.
I sent it for group bashing (comments), if nothing comes back I should be able to get it PDF and uploaded soon. Wonder if I left out anything important, here’s the headings if you are interested.
Affiliate Media Kit Headers: Company Overview, Affiliate Program Overview, Program Benefits, Program Requirements, Program Insights, Creative Showcase & Contact Information.
“Like a travel search engine on your website? Why not try our Wego Affiliate Program Today.” Sorry cant help the shameless sales plug

Its that time of the month again, monthly reports on campaign spend, affiliate revenues, payout reports, adsense revenue reports, impression reports, etc…
The past 2 days was abit of a crunch as we had to squeeze all the reports to prep for the board meeting. Now its all within finance’s court to get everything compiled into something that makes financial sense
Besides generating the report, I managed to sort out a new system to track the affiliates earnings which would not be that messy and affiliates would get paid on time (45 days after the closing month). Hopefully our affiliates at Wego would notice the change
Now its back to the contest and regular SEO stuff.

Friday was the launched of Wego’s new Singapore travel contest – Journeys of Inspiration 2009. The contest is similar to the one ran in May, where participants signup to stand a chance to a travel prize. In our last contest, we had a big prize where one could bring up to 7 friends to Phuket. This time round we decided to do something different, tbe prizes would be in pairs instead of group travel.
Winners will win a pair of air tickets from KLM to any of the 6 city listed on the contest homepage. The prizes are sponsored by KLM Singapore and winners must fly from Singapore to their European destination.
If you are interested in join, why not signup for the contest today.

Finally finish my setup of GAM and succefully tested keyword targeting for my site. If you used Openx and want to try moving over to GAM, the initial phrase might be overwhelming. Reason Google Admanger’s interface isn’t really that user friendly (at least for me) from the on start.
I am a person that normally dive into things and learn as I go, but i had to read a quick setup guide about adspots and placements before being able to get a grab on GAM. After you get a grab on what adspots and placements are, the rest is pretty much a breeze.
Now its time to migrate all the banner campaigns that I have on Openx to GAM and see how it goes from there.
Whats your experience with Google admanager or openx?

If you are wondering why is it so, well basically today was my day to catchup with all the Wego affiliate backlogs. Been relatively bogged down with getting the other traffic strategies in place, that I had to give up sometime on the affiliate program for the past few weeks, so thats why I decided today shall be Affiliate day for me.
Its good that I managed to clear the helpdesk queues and was able to let the word out that we are testing our white label search boxes and search results to our current affiliates. Within a few minutes, I had a few bug reports that would have taken me at least 1/2 a day to find.
Power of crowd sourcing, thanks guys for the help.
PS: If you are interested in slapping a travel search engine on your site, why not signup for Wego travel affiliate program here

We just posted the results to our Vip getaway contest today. The delay in the results was mainly due to the original prize winner wasnt contactable and we tried contacting the winner for 4 weeks.
So what Ged (Deals/Contest guru) had to get a redraw done so that’s why we took so long.
If you like to find out who is the winner for the contest click on
